This is the day which the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Lord God, ruler of the universe,
you have made possible all that we are
and all that we can do
As I begin this day of work,
Let the tasks I do, the thoughts I think,
the ideas I have, and my relationships with others
All be guided by your Spirit.
Grant me the gifts I need to do well the work I do,
give me love to share with others
and help me to show the gospel in the way I live.
